How to make a Reservation

Send a reservation request when you have everything ready to reserve accommodation through our page. You can also send me a message if you need to clarify any detail of the announcement or to see if the space is available for your dates.
To send a reservation request:
1. In the Contact section of the page www.garedemadrid.es/en-gb/contacto, click on Request a reservation.
2. Check the details of the reservation and make sure everything is correct.
3. Indicate your payment preferences.
4. Accepts the conditions, which includes the cancellation policy and house rules.
5. Wait for the answer. In the confirmation email we will indicate the price and payment methods. You will have a period of 24 hours to make the payment, after it has not made the reservation will be without effect.

Requirements to make a Reservation

We have established the rule of asking all guests for certain information as a requirement to make a reservation. Guests need to provide all the information they are asked to confirm a reservation request. This information helps the host to have a clear idea of what to expect and how to contact the host. The required data are the following:
  • Full name and surname
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Acceptance of house rules
On the other hand, on the day of arrival the document proving the identity of the guests will be requested for reasons of security and compliance with the regulations.

Reservations Policies

Our goal is to bet on a quality, sustainable and close tourism, for that reason the reserves cancellations are flexible, completely reimbursing the amounts that would have been advanced within a limited period as detailed:

Refund and cancellation

  • Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is canceled before arrival.
  • Accommodation rates (the total amount per night charged to you) are refundable in certain circumstances, as indicated below.
    • In order to obtain a full refund of the accommodation rates, the cancellation must be made at least 48 hours before the local time of arrival (or 15:00 if it is not specified) of the day of arrival. For example, if it is scheduled for a Friday, you will have until Wednesday of that week before the time set to cancel the reservation.
    • If the guest cancels less than 48 hours before the estimated time of arrival, they must pay the amount of the first night, or in case of having paid for the accommodation, the amount corresponding to the first night will not be refunded.
    • If the guest does not show up on the day of the stay and does not previously communicate this situation, he / she will have to pay the amount corresponding to the first night, proceeding to the reimbursement of the remaining amount that he / she had paid.
  • The cancellation policy for long stays applies to all bookings of 28 nights or more. The cancellation entails:
    • If the guest books a long stay and decides to cancel the reservation before the arrival date, the first month booked will be paid to the host in full and the guest will not be reimbursed.
    • If the guest makes a long-term reservation and decides to cancel it during the stay, they should contact the host to agree on a new departure date. Regardless of the chosen day, you will be required to pay the corresponding payment 30 days after the date of cancellation or the remaining part until the end date if it is less than 30 days.
    • A reservation is not duly canceled until the guest reliably notifies his cancellation, for this he must send an email to reservas@garedemadrid.es or use the contact form on the website www.garedemadrid.es/contacto.
  • Due to force majeure duly justified GaredeMadrid may cancel the confirmed reservations proceeding to the full refund of the reservation or amount paid.

Modification of Reservations

The guest can modify a confirmed reservation (for example, shorten the duration or add nights), having to request it at least 48 hours in advance.
If a guest book for 28 nights or more, the cancellation policy for Estancia Larga applies. If you change or cancel a long stay reservation:
  • The first payment is not refundable.
  • If you cancel when the trip has already started, the remaining nights of the reservation are not refundable. If there are more than 30 nights left in your reservation, only the first 30 nights are not refundable.
The change will apply as long as the availability of the apartment allows it if:
  • 30 days or more remain for the arrival date.
  • The stay has already begun, but there are 30 days or more left for the departure date.

Conditions of reception and departure of the apartment

The reception time of the arrival day will be from 3:00 p.m.
The exit of the apartment will be made before 12:00 hours.The delay in the departure time may entail the payment of one night's stay.

Payment methods

GaredeMadrid offers the possibility of payment by credit card, through the Paypal platform (it is not necessary to have an account), bank transfer or cash on arrival at the accommodation in case there are pending amounts to complete the price of the stay reserved

House's rules

  • It is not allowed to organize parties, events or generate inconvenience to neighbors
  • During your stay you must observe at all times the rules of civic behavior, respect and coexistence
  • Pets are not allowed
  • No smoking

Claims

The accommodation has claim sheets available to guests, they must be requested by contact means, garedemadrid.es or phone page, or you can access them and information about them through the official website of the Community of Madrid (www.madrid.org).
The parties expressly submit themselves to the Courts and Tribunals of the city of MADRID for the resolution of any issues and controversies that may arise in connection with the reservation of accommodation, without prejudice to the provisions of the legal provisions that impose a specific jurisdiction.

By using the page garedemadrid.es as a Guest, you confirm that you have read, understand and accept the rules of the house as well as to submit to these Booking Policies.
